What's new · v2.8.10

Features

  • 🤖 Model and effort aware chips now work reliably across harnesses
  • 🔗 Codex workers connect more reliably — AgentGrid reads the session ID directly from Codex instead of guessing it.
  • 🔍 A new scale setting lets you resize the app to fit your screen and workflow.
  • 🛠️ A new `create_role` MCP tool lets you define roles programmatically; `list_roles` now marks where each role came from.
  • 💾 The app saves your window position and size and restores them every time you launch.
  • 🪟 A Windows 11 ARM build is now available.

Fixes

  • 🟠 The orange activity dot is restored and the unread count stays alongside it.

Improvements

  • 📐 The main render is split into measured spans, making it easier to spot where time is spent.

Windows
Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit
Linux

Troubleshooting

macOS says “The disk image couldn’t be opened — the disk image is corrupted”
That almost always means the download was incomplete, not a bad build. Delete the .dmg and download it again — a fresh, complete download resolves it. If it keeps happening, try a different network.
